Zwift is where a lot of winter volume actually happens. An indoor block falls apart if the session on screen is not the session you planned, so getting your own workout into Zwift matters.
Today you do that by hand. It is three steps and it takes about a minute.
How the session gets there
You export the workout from Coachbox as a Zwift file. Then you move that file into the workouts folder Zwift reads on your computer. Start Zwift and the session sits under Workouts, Custom, coachbox, with your intervals and power targets exactly as you built them.
Zwift only reads that folder when it starts up. So move the file first, then launch Zwift.
What does not work yet
Nothing travels on its own. You export, you move the file, you ride. Finished rides do not come back into Coachbox through Zwift either; they land in your calendar through whatever other connection your athlete uses.
We are building the automatic connection together with Zwift. Once it is live the session goes across by itself, on every device you ride with, and your rides come back the same way.
Two things to check first
The workout has to be power-based cycling or running. Zwift cannot run a session built around heart rate or pace, so the export option stays greyed out for those.
And the file has to reach your Zwift account from a computer. An iPad or an Apple TV cannot take one. Do it once from a computer and the session is available wherever you ride afterwards.
Riding a Tacx trainer? Your Coachbox workouts also reach the Tacx Training app through the Garmin connection, and that one does run by itself.
