Reinout Van Schuylenbergh
Exercise physiologist and endurance training expert.
With more than 30 years in endurance coaching, Reinout spent two decades as technical director for the Belgian Cycling and Triathlon Federations. He holds a PhD in Exercise Physiology from the University of Leuven, where he still teaches, and today shapes research projects at INSCYD. Off the clock, he lives the endurance life he coaches, and plays the drums.
Marten Van Riel
Professional triathlete and T100 World Champion.
Marten has chased sport since he could walk, and turned pro with a single goal: the Olympics. Told he was too small to make it, he turned the doubters into fuel. He fought back from a broken pelvis to place 6th at Rio 2016, finished 4th at Tokyo 2021, and in 2024 became the first-ever T100 World Champion. From stress fractures to an ankle injury on the eve of the 2025 Ironman World Championship, every setback has only sharpened his comeback.
