Of all the connections, Wahoo has the fewest steps between your plan and your athlete’s bike computer. You send the workout and it shows up in the Workouts menu on the ELEMNT. No file to download, no folder to hunt for, no cable.
What happens when you press send
The session goes to your athlete’s Wahoo account with the intervals intact, including the power, heart rate, cadence and speed targets you set. The Wahoo app on their phone collects it the next time it syncs, and the ELEMNT picks it up from there.
Send the same workout twice and the second one replaces the first, so a plan you edited does not turn into two near-identical sessions on the device.
Let it run by itself
Turn on Automatically submit scheduled workouts and Coachbox stages the next session, up to two days ahead, as soon as you save or change it, with a nightly check as a safety net. Anything planned further out is picked up automatically once it enters that window.
Two limits worth knowing
Wahoo only takes cycling and running, indoor and outdoor. A swim or a gym session cannot go to the device, so it stays in the Coachbox app.
Wahoo also sends no daily numbers. If sleep and resting heart rate matter for that athlete, those come from whichever device you picked as the source for them.
