Coros

Coachbox and Coros: both directions, one connection

Activities come in automatically and your structured workouts go out to the Coros app, ready on the watch.

What comes into Coachbox

  • Completed activities

What Coachbox sends to Coros

  • Planned workouts

What this connection cannot do

  • Coros does not deliver daily metrics such as sleep, resting heart rate or HRV to Coachbox. If your athlete wears a second device all day, pick that one as the metrics source instead.

Coros gives you the two things that matter most in a coach-athlete loop: the session you planned arrives on the watch, and the session your athlete rode comes back to you. No file downloads, no manual imports.

Workouts go out

Build the session as an exportable workout and send it with the Coros icon on the workout detail. It travels to the Coros app on your athlete’s phone, and from there onto the watch under planned workouts. The interval structure and the targets survive the trip.

Switch on Automatically submit scheduled workouts and Coachbox stages the next sessions for you as you save them.

Activities come back

When your athlete finishes on the watch, the activity appears in Coachbox as soon as Coros has synced it. Nothing to import, nothing to upload.

What Coros does not send

Daily metrics. Sleep, resting heart rate and HRV do not come across on this connection. If your athlete wears a Garmin or a Polar around the clock alongside their Coros, set that device as the metrics source in Settings, Synchronisation, Metrics. The activities keep coming from Coros regardless of that choice.

Connecting Coros

  1. 1Your athlete opens Settings and goes to the Synchronisation tab.
  2. 2They find Coros under the non-active connections and click Connect.
  3. 3They log in at Coros and authorise Coachbox.

Questions about integrations

How does a workout reach the watch?

Open the workout, and in the Planned workout block click the Coros icon next to Export. It goes to the Coros app, which syncs it to the watch under its planned workouts. Turn on Automatically submit scheduled workouts and it happens without you.

Why is the Coros icon greyed out?

The workout is not formatted as an exportable workout, or its content is not valid yet, usually because no blocks have been added.

Do I get sleep and HRV from Coros?

Not today. Coros delivers activities to Coachbox but not daily metrics. If that data matters to you, pick another connected device as your metrics source.
