If your athlete trains with a Polar, everything that comes in works the way you want. They finish a session, Polar Flow picks it up, and the workout is in your calendar with heart rate, pace, power and GPS. Their daily numbers arrive the same way when Polar is the watch they wear all day.
What does not work
Traffic only goes one way. Polar lets other apps read the workouts your athlete has finished. It does not let them send a workout back to the watch.
So this is not something we forgot to build. There is nothing on Polar’s side to build it with. The day Polar opens that up, we will add it.
What to do in the meantime
Your athlete opens the session in the Coachbox app and follows the blocks there while the watch records. It costs them a glance at their phone between intervals, and everything else about the connection keeps working.
If you really need the session to land on the watch by itself, put that athlete on a Garmin, Coros or Wahoo. Those three take a workout from Coachbox today.
